DESCRIPTION:Pro Bono Attorney Training\nThursday, March 6, 2025\n12:00 – 1:30 pm\nGoodwin\nBoston, MA\n \nThis Training Will Highlight:\n\nRepresentation: How to effectively and sensitively work with a victim of sexual assault or stalking and best practices applicable to pro bono representation.\nSafety: Representing a victim to secure a restraining order so that they are safe at school, at work, and at home.\n\nAll VRLC clients are sexual assault and stalking victims in Massachusetts seeking free civil legal assistance. Cases are screened by VRLC staff attorneys. Volunteer attorneys represent clients on discrete legal issues. These cases are extremely rewarding, short-term, and can provide powerful courtroom opportunities.
