Webinar: Confidentiality Basics for OVW-Funded Attorneys Representing Survivors of Sexual Assault

During this interactive webinar, VRLC will cover confidentiality and privilege basics for OVW-funded attorneys representing survivors of sexual assault. We will help them explain attorney-client confidentiality and privilege to survivor-clients and will explore the intersections of VAWA and other federal privacy laws that impact their practice. We will share resources on jurisdiction-specific confidentiality laws, mandatory reporting, etc. Lastly, we’ll consider data breach requirements.
