Chapter 7: I’ll Find My Joy

The final chapter of Canary: The Washington Post Investigates transports us to an intimate exchange between Carole and Lauren. We hear Carole reconcile with the trauma she has carried for so many years. We witness Lauren and Carole express how the bravery of the other changed their lives. Sharing how Lauren’s story impacted her, Carole says, “[A]ll of a sudden, the world cracked open a bit.
