Join us for an evening to benefit Victim Rights Law Center (VRLC), a Boston-based organization that provides free legal services to survivors of sexual violence and advocates nationally for a new response to sexual assault. 

While supporting VRLC, we’ll have fun learning how to build a delicious grazing board! Aren’t familiar with the grazing board? It’s the heartier cousin of the charcuterie platter and the cheeseboard; a showstopper of swirling and layered flavors, colors, and textures with a wider selection of artfully arranged small bites. 

Formaggio Kitchen’s mongers will guide us through a mobile learning experience. The evening will be centered around a model grazing board prepared by Formaggio experts. Participants will be able to taste and sample from it while sipping carefully curated beverage pairings. 

From there, participants will visit various stations, learn different skills from our mongers, and try their hand while enjoying guidance from our experts.  

You can expect to progress from: a cheese station with suggestions for how to portion and position cheese on the board; to a charcuterie table where our mongers model how to make a salami rose, or other simple techniques with a big visual impact; to an area that focuses on accoutrements; and a fourth station for styling nuts, fruits, and garnishes that add texture and elevate the appeal of your board. 

This class is the perfect combination of learning, tasting, sipping, and hands on fun. At your next gathering, your guests will appreciate your new-found talent in crafting the perfect grazing board! 

This class will take place at Formaggio Kitchen, 358 Huron Ave, Cambridge. 

To fully participate in the class: 

1. Reserve your ticket! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a raffle ticket for a Formaggio cave tour for 4 with cheese and wine!
2. Show up on the day of class. The class will begin at 7:15 pm. You will be standing for the duration of the class (about an hour and a half). Please reach out to [email protected] if you or a member of your party requires seating. 
3. This is an event for those who are 21+. We will check IDs at the door.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you or a member of your party have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please reach out to [email protected] before the day of your class. 

Please note that if you need to cancel your registration, VRLC will not provide refunds.
