Not on the Menu

As restaurants begin to reopen, there is one thing that needs to be left off this summer’s menu – sexual harassment. A pervasive issue in restaurants, perpetrated both by colleagues and patrons, work can be a place of disrespect, harassment, and assault for many – often without any repercussions for the assailant.

Join VRLC for a conversation with Elle Simone of America’s Test Kitchen, Boston restaurateur Tiffani Faison of Bravo’s Top Chef, along with Danya Landis, co-owner of restaurant Machina Kitchen, and Stephanie Holt, VRLC Senior Attorney. Employment attorney Carla Reeves of Goulston & Storrs will moderate the discussion which will outline the issue, possible solutions, and bring much-needed awareness to the plight of many restaurant workers across the country.

This event will be recorded. A recording will be sent to ticket purchasers post-event.

When:  Thursday, June 10 from 2-3pm ET

Where: A zoom link will be sent upon purchase.

100% of proceeds support VRLC’s mission of providing free legal services to sexual assault survivors.
